TRENTON AOH DIVISION 1 VETERANS MEMORIAL . . .
The AOH Msgr. Crean Div. 1, in honor of those who wore the uniform of the U. S. Military, erected a veterans' monument which was dedicated on Memorial Day in 2006.
The monument is a six paneled, solid black granite pyramid 9 ½ feet tall. It has an American eagle on top and a black granite base. The front panel is dedicated to all AOH division, foundation, LAOH members and their families. The right panel is dedicated to all Irish immigrants who left their homeland to come to America, picked up arms and fought for their new country. The left panel is dedicated to the brave 69th Brigade -- "The Fighting Irish".
Engraved granite blocks encircle the monument and also form a walkway to the area now known as the "Walkway of Honor."
